How to Verify Through a Partner App

Once your palm is registered, you can use it to verify on any platform that integrates VeryAI.

💡 Note: Some partner platforms have verification built directly into their app or website - no QR code or VeryAI app needed. Others will redirect you to connect.very.org, where you scan a QR code using the VeryAI app. Check below for whichever flow applies to you.

Flow 1 - Verify within the partner app

Some platforms have VeryAI verification built directly into their app or website. The verification happens inside the platform itself.

If you are a new user:

Follow the verification prompt on the partner platform
A consent and onboarding screen will appear within the platform
Allow camera access when prompted
Hold each palm flat and steady in front of your camera, one at a time and follow the on-screen guide
Once both palms are captured, you will be automatically enrolled and verified

If you are a returning user:

Follow the verification prompt on the partner platform
Allow camera access when prompted
Hold your palm flat and steady in front of your camera and follow the on-screen guide
Once matched, you will be verified automatically

💡 Make sure you are in a well-lit area and allow camera permission when prompted. If the scan keeps failing, try better lighting and make sure your whole palm is in frame.

Flow 2 - Verify with a QR code

Step 1 - Click Verify with VeryAI
On the partner platform, click the verification button. You'll be taken to connect.very.org.

💡 If the link opens inside Instagram, Facebook, or LINE it may not work. Copy the link and open it in Safari or Chrome instead. See Why Verification Links Don't Work in Some Apps for more.

Step 2 - Review the Consent Screen
The page shows the name and logo of the platform requesting verification. Click Continue if you're happy to proceed.

Step 3 - Scan the QR Code
A QR code will appear on the screen. Open the VeryAI app, tap Scan in the bottom navigation bar, and point your phone at the QR code.

💡 Always use the VeryAI app to scan. Don't use your phone's default camera or another QR app. Only scan codes on pages starting with https://connect.very.org.

Step 4 - Scan Your Palm
The app will prompt you to scan your palm. Hold it in front of the rear camera and follow the guide.

Step 5 - Done
Once matched, your browser will redirect back to the partner platform. They receive only a confirmation that you're verified. Your palm data is never shared.

Common Questions

QR code expired?
Refresh the page to get a new one. QR codes on the verification page last 10 minutes. Note that Discord verification links are different and last 15 minutes.

Verified but the platform still says unverified?
